About the Role: 
As our HR Manager, you’ll be the sole dedicated HR-focused team member who will play a central role in developing and executing our people strategy. You’ll partner closely with leadership and team members across the organization to support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, culture-building, and HR compliance. Role reports to Poornima Gopalakrishnan, CEO.

Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes including hiring, terminations, performance reviews, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and best practices.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and internal documentation.
Performance & Culture
- Implement and manage performance review cycles and feedback processes.
- Foster a values-driven culture through team-building initiatives, training programs, and employee engagement efforts.
- Act as a trusted resource for managers and employees on all people-related matters.
- Develop career pathing and training initiatives that drive employee tenure and development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support the evaluation and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Talent Management & Recruiting
- Partner with hiring managers to lead end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, management of external recruiting vendors and offers.
- Develop and maintain a consistent and engaging onboarding process.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a generalist or manager-level role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements – particularly for a fully-remote, multi-state organization.
- Experience in a fast-paced or growing tech/startup environment preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
