About the Role:
AS Software is looking to add an Integration Specialist to the team. The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions across AS Software applications. The employee will participate in workflow discovery and design, configuration and testing of interfaces, as well as coordinating data migrations as needed between disparate systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates defining and documenting integration requirements
- Manages integration activities through the entire project life cycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support
- Develops interfaces using appropriate interoperability standards (HL7, API, Cold feed, etc..) to meet integration needs of customers Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Communicates, coordinates, and escalates interface issues to seek timely resolution
- Clear and effective collaboration with internal and external team members, customers, and key stakeholders
- Recommends improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of existing integrations
- Analyzes and proposes effective solutions for interface projects
- Designs changes and enhancements to interfaces
- Plan, implement, manage data and image migrations between IT systems
- Troubleshoots all technical challenges and problems and escalates if necessary
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as an HL7 analyst or developer (ADT, ORU, ORM, etc.)
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Healthcare domain knowledge and a programming mindset
- Proficient in translating and writing HL7 Interface Specifications
- SQL Database Administrator, DICOM, LDAP, and PACS experience are all a plus
- Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks and projects with deadlines
