About the Company:

Founded in 1991, AS Software offers a suite of structured ultrasound reporting and image management solutions tailored for Women’s Health, Vascular, and General Ultrasound specialties. AS Software’s integrated and vendor-neutral technology allows practices and hospitals of all sizes to capture, review, and retain comprehensive patient ultrasound data seamlessly and efficiently. AS Software is deployed in over 35% of U.S. hospitals and leveraged by over 8,000 clinical users.

About the Role:

As a Senior Product Manager at AS Software, you’ll help transform Asera — our cloud-based ultrasound reporting application into a clinical intelligence platform. You’ll own the product growth strategy with an initial focus on General Ultrasound and Vascular specialties.

Ultrasound is one of the most under-invested modalities in medical imaging. We’re investing in AI to help clinicians work more efficiently and confidently using ultrasound data and workflows.

You’ll work directly with the VP of Product, Clinical Solutions Manager, KOLs, sales, and engineering to ship modern software for clinicians at health systems and IDNs, academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, and private practices.

We believe the future of ultrasound lies at the intersection of workflow automation, interoperability, and AI-assisted clinical intelligence, and we expect our Product team to actively leverage modern AI and prototyping tools to accelerate discovery, validation, and execution.

If you’re analytical, design-minded, commercially fluent, and want to leave a mark on an underserved market, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product lifecycle for assigned areas—from discovery and business case through launch and adoption.
  • Independently identify market opportunities, workflow gaps, and strategic product investments while driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Customer Success teams.
  • Build business cases and pricing recommendations and present them to leadership for approval.
  • Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap in Aha! (or equivalent), kept current for internal and customer-facing audiences.
  • Facilitate user groups, councils, and customer interviews to inform the roadmap.
  • Prototype proposed solutions and validate them with users.
  • Partner with sales on demos, RFPs, customer presentations, and active deal support; equip the field to win.
  • Coordinate internal and external product launches across teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and product evangelist internally, with customers, and at industry events.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and other healthcare regulations.

Success Looks Like:

  • Adoption: active clinical use of Asera grows.
  • NPS: customer satisfaction climbs year over year across the customer base.
  • ARR contribution: pipeline and closed-won are meaningfully influenced by your roadmap and field support.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Track record of building business cases that secure leadership approval and cross-functional buy-in.
  • Comfortable in front of customers and prospects—for demos, roadmap walkthroughs, and deal-stage support.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into pricing, packaging, and prioritization decisions.
  • Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Working proficiency in design tools, with a preference for prototyping over written specifications.
  • Practiced in continuous discovery—runs customer programs, interviews, and synthesis.
  • Comfortable incorporating AI-assisted workflows into product discovery, prototyping, analysis, communication, and execution.
  • Hands-on with a modern roadmapping tool such as Aha!, Productboard, or similar.
  • Technical fluency to collaborate with engineering on APIs, integrations, and AI-driven features.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, from clinician conversation to leadership readout.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory environments, including FDA and HIPAA compliance.

Nice to Have:

  • Background in radiology applications
  • Exposure to AI/ML product development in clinical settings
  • Experience with cloud platform migrations or modernization programs

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 7 years in product management, and three in a senior role
  • Demonstrated success in the healthcare software industry required along with knowledge of health imaging

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Generous healthcare, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401K plan with employer contribution
  • Employer-funded HSA plan
  • Flexible PTO package
