About the Role: 

AS Software is adding to our project management team and looking for an experienced associate to manage the full scope of our client engagements. The project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project(s) while maintaining alignment with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. This includes but is not limited to the project plan development and maintenance, status reporting, oversight, and coordination of project resources, managing quality controls, driving scope and benefits from initiation to delivery, in alignment with client initiatives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and implement projects 
  • Understand project scope, goals, and deliverables 
  • Collateral management and development  
  • Creation of schedule and project timeline 
  • Track deliverables 
  • Support and guide resources 
  • Lead quality assurance  
  • Monitor and report on project progress to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Manage risk and mitigation strategies 
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs 
  • Evaluate and assess the result of the project 

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Problem solving and leadership skills 
  • Project planning, risk management, and other project management skills 
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management 
  • Proficiency In project management software tools 
  • Conflict resolution experience  
  • Ability to assist clients with UI customizations.  
  • Ability to independently investigate client-reported issues  
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn complex healthcare software quickly 
  • Clinical + technical stakeholder coordination skills 
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks during implementations and go-live events 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience  
  • Prior Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) experience 
  • Project management professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), or equivalent work experience as a project manager 
  • Experience with SaaS or healthcare IT systems 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering/support/product

Hours/Shift: Able to work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CT Monday – Friday
