About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Consultant to support clinical analysis, workflow education, and client-facing events related to AS Software solutions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, engaged on an hourly basis with flexible scheduling, based on project and client needs.
The Clinical Consultant will focus on providing learning support to clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring the implementation of best practice workflows, analyzing and resolving client issues, and addressing functionality questions. This role will also collaborate closely with our sales and client services teams to support demonstrations and respond to ad hoc customer requests.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, have a deep understanding of the customer perspective, and be comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment. The ability to work effectively with technology, strong customer service skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced, client-facing setting are essential.
While much of the work may be performed remotely, the consultant may occasionally be asked to support onsite client trainings, implementation events, and go-lives, depending on project needs and contractor availability.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the clinical subject matter expert for clinical and operational workflows related to AS Software solutions, including leading presentations, demos, and training sessions with external clients.
- Develop and execute strategies to promote the adoption of best practice workflows, offering clinical insights during relevant discussions.
- Provide valuable clinical and operational feedback to internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement following client events.
- Cultivate and manage key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support effective change management efforts.
- Stay current with developments in the evolving healthcare landscape, including trends, regulatory changes, and governance strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team, supporting quality assurance efforts and providing input on enhancements that strengthen the overall value proposition.
- Participate in discussions related to product roadmap planning and strategic initiatives that improve clinical, financial, and operational outcomes for clients.
- Develop and deliver training plans and educational resources for client users.
- Support implementation activities and help manage workflow changes necessary to achieve project objectives.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Clinical education experience
- Experience in strategic planning, training, and change management within a clinical setting
- Prior Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) experience
- Preferred Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
